It’s easy to get involved. As a parent of a Winthrop student, you are already a part of Friends.
The school needs you, and your kids will love to have you be a part of their school community. There are opportunities to help out for special events throughout the year, like Holiday Boutique, Halloween Happenings, the Walk-a-thon, and more.
OPPORTUNITIES TO GET INVOLVED NOW:
- River Run: Parents are needed to cover River Run during recess periods so our kids can take advantage of this area of the school. Check RIVER RUN page on this site for more information.
- Craft Nights: We’ve got three more craft nights scheduled to create cool things for the Kid’s Secret Shop at Holiday Boutique.
- CPA: If you, or someone you know, is a CPA who would be willing to process FOW taxes this year (we are a non-profit, so we don’t pay taxes, but our forms are due in January) please let us know.
- Cookie Walk: The holiday boutique seems far off, but you can start baking NOW for the cookie walk. Bake and freeze your cookies – we need dozens and dozens.
