Q) What is the Cookie Walk?
A) Families just like yours bake cookies and donate them to our worthy cause. At the Holiday Boutique, cookie lovers of all ages pay to cram as many cookies as possible into their containers. It’s a fun, easy fundraiser that even the most frantic of families can participate in! The more you bake, the more $ we make!
Q) Is it possible to bake too many cookies?
A) It is not! The class who bakes the most cookies wins a special party! Last year, the winning class baked more than 75 dozen!
Q) Is it possible to put too many sprinkles or too much frosting on my cookies?
A) Nope! Lay it on thick! If you don’t have time, our dedicated crew of volunteers will frost ‘em as we sell ‘em!
Q) What kind of cookies are most popular?
A) Our monsters love those Martha Stewart knock-offs, slice-n-bake, and anything in between! You bake ‘em, we’ll take ‘em!
Q) What about allergies?
A) The Cookie Walk cannot be responsible for ensuring there are nut-free options BUT bakers are encouraged to label their cookies to allow all cookie monsters to make informed choices.
Q) Okay, my house is full of cookies, now what?
A) Bring them to Winthrop School on Friday, December 2nd from 3-5, or bring them to the Holiday Boutique Saturday morning.
Q) Should I bring my cookies on my best china platter?
A) NO! Think disposable/recyclable ~ a flat cardboard box, a leftover plastic container, or reusable containers (please include name) and remember to use wax paper to separate the layers.
Q) How do I get credit for all my slaving over a hot stove?
A) Use one of the handy coupons on the back of this page.
GO COOKIES!
