UPDATE:  Thanks so much to Sasha Nostrand for sourcing carpet squares for our classrooms.
Do you have a connection with a rug/carpet company?
If so, please email Christine Cutter at clcutter [at] verizon.net.  Christine is working to obtaining additional carpet squares for classes’ circle time activities.

HAT DAY – Wednesday, October 7

Don’t forget – Wednesday, October 7th is HAT DAY.
Send your children into school with $1- and let them break the rules for one day – by wearing a HAT ALL DAY LONG!

We are so proud of the Winthrop Students and want to thank the teachers and staff for their hard work last year.
The 2009 MCAS results are in and the 5th Graders did very well.  Winthrop School 5th Grade scored 8th out of 896 schools in the Boston area in English, and 21st out of 897 [...]
