Thanks to everyone who participated today in Meet the Teachers, followed by the Annual Ice Cream Social. It was wonderful to see old friends and new faces, and watch the kids play together on the new equipment, donated by Friends of Winthrop last year.

I just wanted to say that the new playground equipment is great! My daughter enthusiastically exclaimed, “It’s a new playground!” as soon as we stepped on school grounds, today (8/31) for the meet the teacher/ice cream social. So great to see the kids enjoying it all.
